Got DD’s warranty replacement today. Two interesting things: 1. The bat is lighter in color than the original bat purchased last August. 2. The bat is not stamped “No Warrany”, or “Warranty Replacement”. They simply removed the barrel hologram sticker and did not include warranty info card in plastic wrap. DD hit with it tonight at practice and said she hit great! Still loves the Ghost!

You don't get another halogram sticker...you are in the "system" now...so you are gtg.

If they gave halogram stickers out on warranty bats, "receipt makers" would commit fraud more than they already do.

BTW, weren't you the one worried that it was like 4 days and haven't heard anything? :) j/k

Btw, spoke to Easton today...my guy apologized for wait times on customer service. The little league issue is driving them crazy and its killing call waits and times.

I know this matters not one bit to some and they will broadcast their displeasure no matter what as thats how some are...but just giving a heads up
to why.

3 weeks later...

My initial post about the Ghost was a little underwhelming. I stated the bat has pop but I wasn't really seeing any improvement over the 2015 Xeno drop 11 or CF9 drop 10. Based on my observations from practices and games;

1. Sweet spot is huge. I can't believe how many balls I saw hit where the barrel just reaches maximum width line to the green. I have not experienced this with any other bat. I asked my older DD to hit one off the tee and intentionally hit it off her hands, the expression on her face was priceless..lol

2. Mishits turning into hits. My DD had several mishits off the end of the bat that turned into base hits in games. One, a blooper over 1st base (outside pitch that she was out in front of and just poked it), two, a lined shot over 3rd base that turned into a double

3. My DD has been hitting more line drives.. she smoked a single to right field that tied the game in the bottom of the 7th. Unfortunately she hit it so hard that she got throwed out at first.. and she's not really the slowest runner.

4. Distance in the power alleys. This is where I am not impressed. IMO and based on my experience so far, the Ghost is not a long distance bat. I can't explain it. I've seen my DD crush a few balls and the result was disappointing. I will update again over the next few weeks, hopefully things will change in this department. Being a power hitter (3rd, 4th, 5th or 6 th in the lineup) she needs the extra base hits as well. I have a feeling it will come along as she gets more use to the bat.

Its getting there for you it sounds like...glad to hear that atleast. Remember, it has a diff feel than any bat you mentioned so it will take time.
She may be top handing more balls which will cut down on flight/distance time.

But again, happy to hear its coming along

Thank you. In regard to the long distance ball, it seems to be the opposite. She says she has the feeling that she is getting under the ball. The flight of the ball also indicates that the case, massive back spin. What I believe to be hits that are squared up, could be mishits that she is getting under

Are you talking about warranty replacement wait times? Seems slow to me but I could just be being impatient.

Slow...bats are replaced within 10-14 days...that's across the board. Think maybe the latter :)

I was talking about the phone wait times people are trying to call in to customer service/warranty
