safe in an undisclosed location
So yesterday at the CAL v UCLA game, Sutherland-Finch got an IP call that really changed the outcome of an inning and led to her being pulled early. Meanwhile Carda skipped through the game with no problems. Today I am watching Texas v Iowa state and the Iowa pitcher has been dinged 3-4 times while Erica Wright is playing skip to ma Lou for the Longhorns with no problems. I am friggin disgusted right now at the horrible, uneven officiating in college ball.

Risking going down where we have gone before (sorry - just don't remember) what possibly could a group of DFP-ers do to lobby the SB world to make a change? Are we really powerless and this is all under the control of the colleges & college coaches to influence the umpires association? I refuse to accept that nothing can get done on this stinky situation.

Write a resolution and send it to the NCAA competition committee? How many members do we have? I'd be willing to sign something saying " Dear Sirs/Madams, Please tell your umpires to start calling all illegal pitches or change the pitching rules to accommodate the poor mechanics of your "Elite" pitchers. To allow this farce to continue does a huge disservice to all of us fans, players and other pitchers learning to pitch within the current rule set. Respectfully signed, .....'

IMO, just let the pitchers pitch. They have given the hitters every advantage known to man. Eliminate the leaping, crow hopping, both feet on the plate nonsense that frankly takes away from the enjoyment of the game, and just let the girls play!

I'll be shocked if they call "skippers" for replanting.

Some of the "uneven" umpiring is due to whether they can clearly see an infraction in live action from their position. Leaping with an inch of air is the easiest to see, so it gets called the most. The rest we see on tv - close up and in slow motion - are far more difficult for them to clearly see an infraction, so they're rarely called. I doubt they're going to call an IP in a game just because it looked similar to something they saw on video. jmo

Does this exist? => "NCAA competition committee"

I would be happy to write up a first draft for us to all enter a "class action" on.

RB...I really have no idea but it wouldn't surprise me. The NFL has one so I would assume that the NCAA has some version of it. It may be called by another name such as the rules committee or some other.
