No doubt they are going to Texas. It's good that they chose the school as opposed to the softball program when they went to Oregon :-/ Are they student-athletes or athlete-students?

What is occurring just doesn't have a good look, whether it is a personality issue with new staff or meddling/tampering by UT, just a bad scene.

Curious to also know what is occurring at ASU. From World Series participant to transfers...

It's to the point now where you have to start wondering if it's an issue with the new coaching staff. 5 players leaving a top-ranked program seems pretty significant. The first 2 (Elish and Burke), I could see how following Coach White to Texas made sense. I also won't be surprised if Iakopo lands in Texas, too. However, I have a hard time seeing that Texas would be absorbing all 5 departed Ducks. This leaves Oregon without some big pieces, and a very short bench.

I wonder if I could interest them in a 2020 with a good bat that looks awesome in green, lol

In all seriousness there does seem to be at least an incompatibility issue with the new staff. Maybe more?

This morning, after hearing about the latest 2 transfers, my DD offered to skip HS and go catch for the Ducks.

A difference in team culture and expectations brought on by the change is coaching staff might be a difference-maker issue for some of them.

I'm hearing this morning from a friend with a little inside knowledge that Iakopo is probably going to another top-5 program, not Texas.

I wonder how the current Texas players are feeling right now. Are they thinking holy moly!! There goes my playing time or are they happy that the team is getting better?

I'd imagine there is a fair amount of both of that going on.

So far, only 2 Ducks have gone to Texas.

...so far but Rhodes is from Texas and Pinto moved to Texas during HS I believe, I would think there is strong likelihood.
