I've seen better defense in 10U..yeesh.
Impressed Texas A&M recovered to win game 2 against Florida. Florida should be done at this point which is crazy.
Arizona did better than Friday, but UCLA just beat on them.
Once again there are some woeful coaching decisions...
The Washington/Alabama game...once again, if you are going to let your pitcher throw 170 pitches you are going to lose. It was subtle, but Osorio was losing her mechanics late in the game. Gabbie Plain was at 136 at the end of the game and she was starting to struggle as well. Both teams have viable options on the bench to use.
LSU tried to do the same with Waljasper but were lucky to have a big enough lead to survive giving up a HR ball to the best hitter on FSU. Seriously?
Kentucky apparently didn't understand basic lineup/substitution rules because - and I paraphrase here what she said - 'I normally don't have her as the DP'. What?
Still lots of huge HR swings on no outs/1 out, runner on third. Although based on some of the woeful attempts to get a bunt down I saw from several players, maybe this is a better option.
And congrats to Loyola Marymount for defeating UC Riverside for the NISC Championship. Based on last year(Liberty, Kennesaw State for example), this is a springboard for making the field for next year.

Was really hopeful for a Florida free WCWS.
A walkoff on a great pitch is one thing, but when it is fat down the middle it is about the same as a walk.

FSU vs LSU was a great game 2, Starting pitchers threw 396 pitches in an 11 inning game. I'm surprised they left Hoover in for the 10th and 11th.

Agreed!! FSU winning game 3 was a let-down, IMO.

Congrats to the PAC 12 with 4 teams going to the WCWS even though I think Oklahoma, playing at home with the best pitching duo in college, will likely win it all.
