In case anyone is unaware, WatchESPN does a great job of broadcasting college softball games (and lots of other non-revenue generating sports). You can use it on your phone, iPad, or laptop. Just log in with your cable/dish username/password. The broadcast a lot of game live and the replay feature is awesome.

I am addicted to this app. If you have Roku box for your TV, it's even better. I recently purchased a 32" Roku Tv for my home office for $148 at Walmart. I have my wireless uverse cable box for regular tv and I use the ESPN app to stream/replay softball games...Lots of softball as I can't watch day time Tv.

Amazon Fire Stick - same thing. I got tired of watching on my phone so I looked for the app on FireStick, and voila! I'm having a blast watching DD's former teammates tearing it up on the field. :)

Agreed. Watched all of Duke's games last weekend along with some other conferences. It helps fans far away to keep in tune with their schools.

If you have Roku or firestick do you need a service provider username and password?

I am using a Firestick and had to register it with Amazon, but there is no fee. After you download the WatchESPN app and launch it, it asks you to register with your TV service provider username/password. So if you are already paying for ESPN channels you will get them on the app at no additional charge.

My productivity at work goes down tremendously during softball season - just watched the UNC vs USC game from last night. Loved seeing a couple of players that Katherine has played against through the years.

My only gripe is they don't have a deal with the Pac-12, and I can't get Pac-12 through my DirecTV (the only provider I can get where I live). The result is I see a LOT of SEC/ACC games and almost no Pac-12 ball.

be advised that there is a fuse on how long the replay games are available.

I took my time, and watched my way through a LOT of games during/after WCS last season,
but when I finally was ready to fire-up the Championship games, they were gone!
