This team appears to be exceeding early expectations. Amelia and Kat looked impressive in the circle last night. Kat with the impressive bomb to CF!
We have not played any softball power houses, but we seem to be able to hold our own against average teams, especially when we play lighs-out on defense, which we did last night against Purdue.
Really liked the 3rd base transfer. That girl can play.
ACC is not real strong. FSU is but you said you don't play them. Everyone else should be beatable. You have the pitching to hang in there and the batters will get better as they get experience. Bit of luck falls your way you have a chance to be top 3.
She did manage to hit the first official home run in Duke softball history.
