Someone else gets appointed head coach and the team plays as they were always going to next season?
Seriously, coaches leave all the time. This season's and next year's players are pretty much set at this time (assuming they don't release some NLI's and don't back out of some verbals) give or take one or two spots... They will be who they were always going to be next year.
It is 2-3 years down the line that you will see something materially different in terms of the team on the field.

Good or Bad? I do not know many college coaches but root for BIG10.
