There was a post a few days ago about why the B1G struggles in comparison with the other major conferences when it comes to softball. Here is another reason. I can get SEC and ACC softball until my heart is content. If I had the right cable package, I could get tons of Pac12 softball as well. But, the only B1G games you will see are the couple per week the Big Ten Network decides to show. Up until last year, they didn't even bother airing every game of the conference tournament.
I think the Big-10 EXTRA broadcast some softball games, but there is a monthly subscription fee. LOVE the SEC and ACC network availability on WatchESPN.
BTN is terrible for softball. You can see every single Alabama and Florida game on the SEC/ESPN networks during the season. Meanwhile the B10 teams are lucky to be on TV two or three times.
