I assume since this is posted under College Softball News that some of these 12U players have verballed. Congrats. What schools??
Congratulations! Apparently I missed this the first go around.
Since exactly zero CA teams made the trip to VA, the likelihood of a CA team winning was way down this year.
Our team qualified for ASA Nationals, but a few of our parents dug in their heels about the expense of the trip, even though it was made clear from the start of the year that going to VA was the goal. With TCS World Series, U-trip Nationals, and PGF all in So Cal this year, the attraction to ASA Nationals on the other side of the country diminished significantly.

The same reason many midwest teams don't play PGF and go to California. Way too expensive...
