I can never understand why they chase people away from the reserved seats when the stadium is empty.

I remember many years ago, mid to late 1980s, I went to the US Open. The main stadium was reserved seats, but the stadium on the side had a few reserved seats with the names of big donors. I went with a young lady to see a match with a rising star named Anxra Sanchez. The match was very late, almost everyone had gone home, and none of the big donors were there. They did have a guy who was chasing people away when he saw them go into the empty VIP section. When he was off on the other side of the stadium, we went over to find some reserved seats.

I finally found some seats with a name I recognized. A famous NYC real estate tycoon who is a YUUUGE tennis fan. I mean YUUUUUUUGE!!!!! So when the usher wasn't looking, my date and I sat in Donald and Marla's seats, and remained there the rest of the match.
