College Softball Starts This Week - What game are you excited about?

I hope to catch some of their games this year. We'll probably go see Kennesaw State play quite a bit. It's about half an hour from my house, and they don't charge admission for home games. We went last year as a team and it was great. Our girls waited outside the players' locker room after the game, and the players went and got a bunch of pens and spent a long time hanging out, signing autographs and chatting with the young girls (they were 8U). It was really awesome.

You picked a good one. The atmosphere at Auburn has totally changed since Myers came to town. He has made it an event and created a great family environment. Keep an eye out for their promotions through the season because they had some great events last year. They also sign a ton of autographs and the players are very accessible.

With that being said I can not wait until Thursday night at 7 when AU takes on App State on the SEC Network+.

Taking DD2 and her friend to Tempe for the Kajikawa Classic. They want to see Oregon play. Lots of good teams at this one!

I will watch just about any game I can find and set my DVR to record anything with the word "softball" in it. Only downside is the Longhorn channel rebroadcast all their games, so I end up with 5+ recordings. Love watching SEC teams and DD's college of choice (Purdue). Really looking forward to watching USCe (South Carolina) to see if I can catch Riseball's DD in the circle.

PS - hope to catch MNDad's DD too! Can someone start a list of DFP members and where their DD are playing college ball? Would like to follow as many of them as I can.

NDSU Bison play North Carolina, Texas and Arkansas down there this weekend on the Longhorn Network....Go Bison!!

We have USF, Florida, Michigan, South Carolina playing local but DD has a tournament a couple hours away this weekend. Will get to see Florida play Friday evening before hitting the road though!

DW and I cannot wait to see DD play her first official game as a Gamecock, but Jake is beyond excited to get into the circle. Get to see SC vs Michigan and USF and other games on Friday. Then on Saturday they play VT at 9:30. Cool thing is we do not have to leave our seats to see Florida vs Michigan at 12:00.

D-II teams played for a week now. UMSL's Hannah Perryman threw her first Perfect Game of the year on Sunday. That gives her 7 Perfect Games in her career. BB called her and she was so excited. UMSL is currently ranked 7th in D-II and is off to a 4-0 season. Alex Stupek will probably break BB's records and she is off to a great start as well. Both of these young ladies are outstanding young ladies from fantastic families.

Where's the best place to keep track of what's going on in D-ll?? Most of the teams in this area haven't started yet.
