Sure I've mentioned it before AND I coached TB for 10 years as well. I coached hitting for both baseball and softball players for longer than that. I have also stated on this site and others that they are two different games. I've pointed out the differences as well in various arguments. Schilling was commenting on pitching and several times what he said he would do as a baseball pitcher did not reflect what was successful for that pitcher. An example that is obvious is the use of the change up. Schilling was never known to incorporate the change in the way it is used in softball. I'll stand by my comment above! Are you of the opinion that softball can't stand on its own and has to have people talking baseball during a broadcast to gain viewership?
