Right or wrong I am sure that the coach would accept responsibility for his coaching and would not appreciate you diminishing his role to that of a victim. His health issues are truly unfortunate. However, regardless of his personal situation and the emotions of his team he is still expected to demonstrate a high level of coaching competence. In this particular game his coaching was an epic failure.

Thank you again Mr Riseball for keeping it real and leveling the rampant psychosis of entitlement. Can I get you to run for office? ;)

I wonder if he was reluctant to put in his reliever Alex Stewart with bases loaded because she is prone to illegal pitches. She apparently had 7 yesterday.

I wonder if it was Lotief or Norris that made the call? Would be curious to know who had the say.

Gronknation, before you start throwing people under the bus, you might want to gather information so you have some idea of the facts. I'm not saying Mike didn't make a mistake, but it's not the mistake you think he made. Unfortunately, the mistake couldn't be corrected soon enough to get Jordan out of the game any sooner than he did. And it's not ULL, it's Louisiana.

Drop the Lafayette, and it will be Louisiana. Until then it is ULL.

I prefer UL-Laf (pronounced "you'll laugh"). :O

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette does in fact discourage the use of ULL (see Proper Use of the University's Name), even though those are the initials. smh Their goal of being known as "Louisiana" is understandable. However, their crusaders' constant 'correcting' of people to say so is absurd and counterproductive because it rubs people the wrong way. By all means, keep on promoting the recognition of your school as "Louisiana" by using it in your posts and edited poll standings. IMHO, you may want to reconsider some of your other tactics.

Almost as annoying as being corrected that it is The Ohio State University.
