The Oregon regional begins today. They have to start a day early because BYU is in the region and BYU cannot play games on Sunday. Doesn't look like there is any t.v. coverage today. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that. So who's your team? Which regional are you going to follow? Any great first round matchups? I'm all in on Michigan this year. Also very interested to see if teams like Hofstra, NDSU, UCF, and James Madison are good enough to compete with the big girls.

Anyway, good luck to your team. Go Gophers and Irish.

Should have added (no tv air time Thursday 5/14)...got my hopes up when I saw post. LOL! Anyway, I don't see any on my ESPN feed...looks like all re-airs today. Damned shame...I don't want to work.

I'm on the LSU bandwagon - Geaux Tigers!

I'm also rooting for James Madison, which is just through the holler from my brother-in-law's new house. I'm dropping hints to DD that JMU is a college to consider - good academics, four seasons and close to family - what's not to like?

And when the dust settles, all the usual suspects are still in the lineup. The 15 and 16 seeds getting bounced is not very newsworthy especially since Kentucky could have arguably deserved a regional. I would have liked to have seen a true Cinderella emerge. Kinda funny how the SEC has 8 teams in the supers but only one match up is SEC v SEC. If I was a suspicious person I would think the seeding is less than on the up and up. There could be 7 of 8 teams from the SEC in the WCWS.....hmmmmm.

A little payback from the NCAA for all that football money the SEC brings in. It has been that way in softball for a while now.
