I know they want to justify decisions by saying they want to 'keep travel costs down' (apparently for some programs, but not others), but UCF not getting a regional is garbage.
Notre Dame absolutely didn't deserve one but I guess location trumped performance.
And frankly Arizona as a '12' is very, very questionable as well. Debatable whether they deserve a regional at all. And putting Minnesota in the same regional (who should have got a regional instead of traveling across the country) just compounds a poor decision further.
Oregon has it massively easy.
Florida has it tougher than deserved. FAU is no joke, and then you likely get Kentucky in the next round.That will be tough against an experienced team if they get some run support and keep Nunley's arm from falling off that could go either way.
