Ya I refuse to watch this unfair aberration. When I saw it was Silkwood I immediately deleted the game knowing that I will not like any outcome and all I would do is tick off the wife for constantly yelling and throwing things at the tv.
It's a single elimination tournament and TN starts Gaffin? Sometimes I wonder if the Weakley's give a rip about the SEC tournament. It seems like they treat it as pool play before the NCAA bracket play. However we will take the win.

Perhaps the thinking is that your ace cannot start and win 4 games in 4 days vs. 4 ranked opponents. Your #2 has to beat somebody, so which of these does the #2 have the best shot against -- Kentucky, LSU, Florida, Alabama/Auburn/UGA?
I'm a UGA fan and wish UGA had saved Wilkinson. She pitched 5 innings in an 11-0 victory. I realize Kentucky is more dangerous than Ole Miss.

Yeah...you probably have a point but I just didn't even see Gaffin as the #2. I'd have to go back and see how much KY saw her last weekend. Injuries have hurt TN in the circle for sure. Good to see these young freshmen stepping up and making huge plays.

Wife is P.O. that the annoucers said Paige could only throw fastballs in high school. Wants me to tweet them and tell em what she thinks.

while we are on announcing....they can save the wristband explanation, after the 500th time they have explained it this season it is safe to say that people understand what is going on with pitching signs.

Reading through some OLD threads and came across this one and a few others on Alexis Silkwood. Agree completely that she is leaping/crowhopping whatever you want to call it. Don't know if she did it in high school or not, but she has had a lot of success. IHSA IHSA Girls Softball All-Time Records She is at the top, or near the top in a lot of categories for all time in Illinois. I do know her personally, and she is a very nice girl, but the sound definatly has to be down to watch her games. Can't stand the screaming.
