Thank you. UMSL wins the GLVC Tournament for the 3rd year in a row. Funny, when BB was a freshman, all of the parents were hopeful for a split each DH. True to form, that is what we did and the team record was 27-26. For the last 3 years, these girls have worked so hard in the weight room and in practice. They really have dedicated themselves to turning this program into a nationally recognized program. I am very proud of all of the team. My dd didn't have a good weekend. Still, she was walked 7 times in the tournament including 3 in the championship game. Instead of hitting, she contributed with her glove. YoungBuck, were you at the game? I know one of the parents has said that she is going to put the last play of the game on YouTube. If so, I will put it here in this thread.

U of Indy is a tremendous program and they are as tough a team as there is in the nation. Morgan Foley is tough as nails. Hannah Perryman for UMSL battled all game and so those who were in attendance were witness to a tremendous pitching duel. We were fortunate in the 8th inning to pull ahead. Regional Seed announcements tomorrow at 10 in the morning. UMSL will host in the Midwest for sure. We will see who they play. There will not be any easy games from here on out. The Midwest is loaded.

Yes, UMSL will host it all if they keep winning. They are the #2 ranked team in the nation. This is one tough Regional. The #8 seeded team, Wayne State, is 47-17. To put this into perspective, one Regional #8 seed is below .500 and most have high 20s or low 30s win totals. Per the last Rankings, this Sectional will have the #2, #10, #15 ranked teams.
