Great ability of mixing the speeds. This is what I always tell my pitchers that don't have the speed, and once they figure it out it makes such a difference. I have a senior right now that tops out at 53, but she finally trusted her spins and off-speeds and she has some awesome showings in her games now. As some that face her say; "She made us look silly".

first off that is maybe the best pic ever Lamar Latrell !!! That wind up, it has good and bad, show the ball sure, moving parts sure, alot going on sure,,,,,,, but those moving parts and unique motion can also "mesmerize" hitters too. Or at least distract them some. Im not a pitching guy so im not going there, but I can see how there could be benefits to that motion.
