Nice article regarding NDSU softball. 6-0 v. the Big 10 this year.

Facing nationally ranked Gophers and South Alabama, NDSU softball team has chance to crack the top 25 poll | INFORUM

edit: NDSU split with Minnesota today so they are now 7-1 v. The Big 10 this year.

Congrats to Cal State NoDak for last week's road victories over the #12/10 Gophers and #21 S.Alabama!

Things that make you go hmm...
- Gophers dropped to #13 on NFCA Poll and moved up to #9 on ESPN rankings after UL-Laf was swept by #2 Oregon.
- Gophers Stober/Anderson shut out Iowa in 5 innings after giving up 5 to NDSU.

I check ESPN U scoreboard on weekends and have noticed a couple or a few surprising (to me) NDSU wins. I always love an underdog.

NDSU 4, Fresno St. absolutely nothing. It's like I've always said, North Dakota Californians are better than California Californians.

Bison are really wolves disguised as sheep. They have a huge opportunity today to get on the map.

Typical Bulldogs - they look scary, but they just roll over on their backs.

We don't really consider Fresno as California, in fact its closer to Nevada than SoCal

And just like the North Dakota State is KICKING THE EVER LOVING CRAP out of Oregon. The mighty Ducks are in HUGE trouble!!!! 1-0 Bison after one.

bottom of the third now, Ducks about to bat. Don't you get the sense that Oregon is just kind of toying with them and will just blow the game open and dash their hopes? I say it happens NEXT inning. By the end of the FOURTH it will be 4-1 Ducks.

1st inning HR by 4'-11" Cheyenne Garcia 2B R/R Jr. Vista, Calif. (Rancho Buena Vista HS). Hawkins walked her with only 4 pitches to lead off the 4th.
