Sincere thanks to everyone. She had a rough day on Friday and picked up her first L. Some days you are the windshield, some days you are the bug. 
Came back on Saturday vs Miami Dade with 12k's, 1 walk, and 1 hit in a 0 - 4 shutout. Lost the no hitter at 6 1/3 but all she cared about was the W and that she turned things around.

Sounds like she's the toughest where it counts. Between the ears. The good pitchers know they will have days when no matter how hard you try it's just not there. They also have the fortitude and internal confidence to know they don't have to make any big physical adjustments. They make the small mental adjustments come back out the next outing with a fresh mental slate and do what they've been doing day in and day out throughout their careers.
Bottom line... They don't panic!!!

Chipola College’s Jessica Elliott is this week’s NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. Elliott, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., was 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances during the voting period. She tossed a pair of complete-game shutouts – a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts vs. Darton State on March 3 and a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts against nationally-ranked Southern Union four days later. In 13 total innings, Elliott allowed only three hits and six walks while striking out 23.
