My dd plays for University of Pittsburgh Johnstown, a brand new program in the PSAC league in PA. Interesting to watch development. They are ranked ninth, last, in the PSAC and were not expected to win one game. We have one 3 in league play so far! Several cancelled due to cold. Watch on live stats, does this give anyone else anxiety! The short delay while the play goes on kills me!

Tough to hit homers when you don't get anything to hit. Thought you'd get a kick out of this - from Augie's last series:
while Jenelle Trautmann tied a single game record at Augustana being intentionally walked four times. Trautmann owned the single game record after being intentionally walked four times in a game against Concordia-St. Paul on April 18, 2014.
And then in the second game of the double header:
Trautmann was then hit by a pitch for the second time in the game

I know, BB averages over 32 walks per year but not intentional. They throw it in there and take a chance she will swing. BTW, BB hit #15 today tying Jenelle for the lead in the nation. It will be tough for BB to hit anymore as our schedule gets significantly harder starting tomorrow. BB will face 4 or 5 of the top pitchers in the nation in the next couple of weeks. BB's 2 today give her 47 for her career and so, she is way behind Jenelle.

UMSL hit 7 more home runs today. This makes their season total 82, which ties the 22nd most in a single season in NCAA Division II history. We still have 14 games left in our regular season and the conference and hopefully NCAA Tournament. BTW, Alex Stupek hit 3 today giving her 15 on the year and tying her with my dd for team lead. Hannah Perryman struck out 18 today in the second game of the DH. UMSL and U. of Indy are now tied atop the GLVC.
