    Very few, one I know of , 7th graders make the varsity field. But yes you can letter 6 times. Gonna brag a little but 13yr old DD made 1st team all state (top class) as an 8th grader, youngest ever here in ND (sorry, proud DAD )

    Kentucky, Varsity plays 6 innings, high school rules. JV plays 20 minutes after conclusion of Varsity game and they then play 3 innings.

    My fifth grader DD started all games for Varsity In the outfield. Got a little time In the infield during JV games.
