Played a rec game last night and were up 15-0 in the third. Could have been worse but we have 5 run inning limits. The umps were going to call the game but our coach asked if we could play one more with a diff pitcher/catcher combo. DD had been catching and he put her in as pitcher. She consistently throws strikes and most teams can hit off her very well. She’s not fast but accurate. After about 5 hitters she’d only thrown 1 ball. He also put people in the infield that don’t play those positions. DD was able to strike out 2 but anytime it got hit, they couldn’t make a play. Scored 4 errors in that inning and the other team got their 5 runs 
Our coach likes to mix up our defense a lot if the score is so lopsided.
He also had them trying to bunt more on offense.
