Your pitcher has to pitch indoors due to weather...she is pitching on a cement type floor...what can you put for her to pitch on so she doesn't slip....besides buying on of those mats with rubber on it...Thanks

I think if you search the history here you will find quite a few threads about making your own pitching mats too

I use 3/8" thick stall/shop mat found at the local farm store. I buy 9.5 feet lengths in the 30" width. Anything less is just too short. I use non-residue duct tape to secure a 6x24 inch piece about 12 inches from the back edge. That should give you 8 feet from the front edge of the rubber to the end of the mat. It's a tad heavy, but with a fold up wagon, I can tote 2 mats, a couple buckets of balls, my duffle bag, a tee, a small cooler and a pop up bungeed on top! Including tape, one set costs about $45 (non-residue tape is about $10...) I'm actually headed to the store today to get enough for one more pitching lane, as well as a 30x48" piece for catchers.
