Default Being trown out of game

I was close once and should have been.

    I was an a**.

Ump said go back to dugout or parking lot, your choice. Really nice person by the way.

Have any of you been kicked and if you do not mind sharing why?

Another coach I was talking to was kicked from 2 games this past year, umpire issue.

I only saw a coach get ejected once.

I think that coach was already warned about his mouth. At one point, when a call went against his team, the coach yells out "you've got to be kidding!".

    Ejected.

My DD 3 used to be part of an organization in Madison that was started by a fellow who was involved in the most notorious ejection ever in Wisconsin. The coach was thrown out of his old organization, so he started a new one. He had other people do the coaching, because this particular coach was banned for life from USSSA events. Thing is, he is a pussycat outside of the softball field. I think he is banned from coaching USSSA events. The last time I talked to him he was at a USSSA event watching his DD play, and we had a chat about how my DD 3's team (part of his organization) was doing. Even the team in his organization that his DD is part of plays in USSSA events.

I did talk to a parent who was at the game where the guy was banned for life. Claims the cops were called.

No need to mention his name. Most people in Madison softball have heard of him. Truly Jeckell and Hyde. Every time I've every seen him he's been the sweetest, kindest most soft spoken and encouraging guy imaginable. I personally have only good things to say about the guy.

We played in a tournament recently where the team we were playing had just played on the same field during the previous game. Same umps, and obviously this HC had pushed boundaries in that game and they were losing their patience. He protested a call and threw his hat during our game (it really didn't look THAT bad to me), but the ump stopped the game, yelled up at the booth where the tournament director was staying (I guess) and then walked out to find the TD. Everyone was looking at each others with puzzled looks and shrugs. Ump comes back (couldn't find TD) and pronounced that HC was ejected, but that he could stay about 50 feet away from the field. The guy hid behind a pole near the concession stand for the remainder of the game. He could have yelled directions at the players and they could have heard him from that distance, but he kept quiet.

Been thrown out once, should"ve been tossed a few more times. My biggest peeve is not calling IP. The ump agrees with me and still doent say squat. All Travel Ball games, I never have been tossed in a HIGH school game. That would take money out of my pocket!!!

I was tossed for the first time this past season after 8 years of coaching. Listen i'm not going to lie there are times I've made comments to an umpire and maybe I should have been tossed and wasn't.

This time I was tossed because opposing teams catcher was sitting on the plate with no ball I argued interference he told me she was allowed to block the plate, after realizing I was getting nowhere I walked back to our dugout. My 11yo catcher comes and stands next to me and goes we aren't allowed to do that right? I said nope you can't he doesn't know the rule. In response I got "lady" your gone. Most annoying part, my assistant coach tells me opposing coach walks up to the umpire between innings and tells him he was wrong his girl was blocking the plate and wasn't allowed, to which he started arguing with the opposing coach.

That is what ACs are for, you throw them out there so they can get tossed.
