DD has not played since last September outside of a few practices. Didn't play HS ball and took a month long trip after school. Comes back to practice and her hitting is fine, she is fine in all aspects outside of being a little rusty. She plays C, 1B and OF but outside of throws from the OF just can't throw. She is just afraid to let it go and it comes out as either a 1 hopper or a lolipop. Any tips on some drills that might help get her throwing it. She can throw from RF to home, but can't throw from C to P. She is 15 and it's really wearing on her.

Sounds like a mental issue that you need to work through with patience. Couple things you might try. If her C to 2B throws are good, lower the target and practice firing the ball back to/through the pitcher until she gets comfortable/confident again with partial speed throws. You could also start her throwing to the plate from the OF, where she is comfortable, and incrementally reduce the distance every few throws. Initial goal could be to start at say 170 ft and get comfortable at 85 ft (i.e. Distance fro C to 2B); then start at 100 and move to 50. Maintain velocity/effort and just lower the trajectory if all else fails until the brain regains trust in the muscle memory.
