Live pitching inside cage???

I agree there are associated dangers involved here, especially if there are beams etc... However in the cage I use, there aren't beams or weird lighting to contend with. Yes sometimes on a ball popped up off the bat, the ball will bounce downward at a weird angle. But those are far and few between. As long as your tunnel is 10' tall or higher with a fair amount of sag (not stretched super tight) and at least 50' long, you can play cageball. Its by far the best practice possible in these scenarios.

Just to clarify, we are at full distance... not 25'.
For those who have pitchers that insist on a screen... what league do you play in that screens are used on game day?

Agree, practice like you play. But are you playing in the batting cages or practicing in the cages?

Our cages arent quite long enough for live pitching at 43ft... We set up screen and have our girls throw from about 30ft... Tremendous help on recognize and react IMO.
