The only responsibility our HC has is coaching the team during games and handling practices. Our HC doesn't have any involvement in any fundraising. The HC along with the AC are told what funds we have and then they select which tournaments we do with the funds the team has raised.
New HC/Manager, depressing results.

If there is one thing I have learned in this position is that going to people with problems is not very useful. You need to bring them problems+solutions and then you can get your own solution implemented in absence of them having a better one.
Not really sure why your HC is supposed to organize fundraisers that's not usually their responsibility in any organization I've been involved with?
Yeah agreed. Its our manager who is supposed to be doing it but he's friend with HC and equally as inexperienced and stalled

One major characteristic of a good team is that all players and coaches pull in the same direction. I'm all for questioning the process in a private, coach's only meeting, but the staff needs to have a unified message to players and families.
