Here is my hypocritical post. We have always ran with 10 or 11 so I will not have to hurt feeling when it comes to playing time. We travel to tournaments but not really huge fields so the lower number works well. If you are planning on going after the big fish then more lures will be necessary. I know when one of my buddies puts his team together each year they are planning on playing in ASA USA A class and they have no less than 13 and they do not worry about playing time. They know they will lose players but like someone said if you are good, players find you. In summary, I would honestly evaluate my team objectives and field my team based on level of competition.
