    Default The last practice ever

Had the privilege of watching a father pitch to his daughter for the last time tonight for her final batting practice in her softball career. She's a Senior at Colorado State University.

I got to take their picture after the batting session. Cool and emotional. I don't think it sunk in until we arrived for our lesson. The finality of it all.
Just like that the chapter ended and she realized earlier today and told him. I think even after an entire day thinking about this final practice it still was something you can't prepare for.

    College scholarship
    Degree
    Getting married after graduation

His DD made her dreams come true.

If only we all could be so lucky!
    Good job Dad!

It happens. A former Oregon player posted a couple video clips of her BF pitching BP to her during her senior season. He did a pretty good job.

Ah, yes. Getting a personal assistant who then you marry makes a lot of sense. Really good time management skills there.

That is where I went wrong. I dated (and eventually married) a track athlete in college. All she did was run away from me the first few months before she finally said she would go out with me...I think she got tired (she was a sprinter, not a distance runner)
