GAAAHHHH!!!! Daddy Ball!!1!

Hey everyone. Just chiming back in.

I've spoken with several coaches over the past few days and the "talks" have been pretty positive. Have about 3-4 tryouts lined out over the next week or so. Of course as a courtesy I always makes sure to inform the coaches that she has other stuff going on aswell. Message has been pretty clear - Look at her then we can talk. But if you know up front you arent going to bother just let me know and no hard feelings.

My biggest message for my daughter is just go out an play and let her mom and I worry about the rest. Fingers crossed and hopefully there is good news for everyone shortly!

So in a rather strange turn of events - I contacted a coach who has some cache in our area. Well really everywhere because his credentials range from NCAA All American, Cup of Coffee in the pros, and now a very sought after collegiate baseball coach as well as a instructor in the minor leagues for an MLB team. (Im leaving some info out but my point is - this dude knows his stuff)

Spoke with his staff and the message to me - They would prefer it if she played other things during softball season along with softball and she also knows my daughters cheer coach so its understood what she goes through.

personally i think the team is too polished for her so Im not expecting much. The biggest thing was they want to find ball players period. Whether it be a guest play or full on member. The conversation was refreshing and I has me hopeful
