Did GC change its plans? With the team my DD played for last yr, I would get the game highlights free of charge. We are with a new team this year and now it looks like I would have to pay to subscribe to get the game highlights.

Is it possible that your team used iScore last year? I think GameChanger has always charged to see the scores. iScore has historically allowed that for free.

Not sure if they've changed their plans, but according to the website the free level gets you schedules, messaging, game start notifications and animated live games. No mention of Game Highlights, but then again Game Highlights are not specifically mentioned in the paid plans either. Are you looking at the GC website or the GC app? I only see the Game Highlights option on the website, not in the app. Note that I am a Plus Plan subscriber, but I also recall getting Game Highlights on the website before I went to a paid level.

I think the person keeping score/admin has to add you to receive notifications. We played the weekend before last and I got the game wrap ups and was able to see the highlights.

No, you have to pay to get the "premium" features such at game recaps, stats, spray charts, etc. It wasn't included in our team fee, so we had to split the cost to upgrade to premium for the team

Your team may have had the Community pass. It can be seen under the pricing tab for coaches. There are 2 levels, a plus and a premium level that adds season stats and spray charts. If multiple families only follow your one team, it can make sense to pool together and buy the single team pass. If you have multiple kids, or guest play often, or like to follow other teams or players. An individual pass is the way to go.

It was definitely GC. I can see the score and action live BUT I no longer get an article that sums up the major plays of the game.

Interesting....I only used GC thru the app and would get the highlights there.

I can get the game recap story on the app and the website, but the game highlights are only on the website for me. The recap is the article-style narrative that's auto-generated by the program based on the game stats. The game highlights are simple stat highlights (top 3 in hits, walks, QABs, RBIs, etc.).

If you're talking about the recap article, yes that is only available at a paid subscription level.

Yes, the recap article is what I am referring to. I guess her team last yr had a plan that included players or something, because I never paid for it.
