GoPro Hero 6 with Quick

Ok so been waiting to get my hands on a new camera since it came out about 5 months ago. Wanted the Hero5 because of the image stabilization. However I was patient enough to wait for the new Hero6 and way better features than the 5. Stabilization and image quality on the pics is amazing. What I wanted to introduce is GoPro Quick. Its a simple video editing program that you can download to your phone . I believe only the Hero 6 is compatible with this feature ( I could be wrong). When I opened the camera and made my settings I took the camera out and played around with it. The videos downloaded directly to the Quick app and made the video. Video isn't bad with the effect into it.

If you did a softball video with this feature I think you could have a great polished video. Heres a sample of what that app did for only just a 20 min drive north of me.

I think quik works with the 5 also. I have Played with it some but mainly I use Splice because it’s easy and I’m not very technical. Lol.

So what did you think of the 6? We like it. Can't wait until we get some of that California weather around here to put it to use.

for stabilization its great... Main reason I got the 6. The HDR pictures are nice too. I didn't have the 5 so waited for 6 to come out. I was reading and watching youtube if you owed the 5 unless you need the 4K at 60FP then upgrade. I just wanted the new upgrade to my 3/4. For everyday pics or on the go. I will keep my GoPro Hero 6 in my pocket. The new chip is insane too. For downloading pics/videos to phone. SUPER FAST!!

Yea, USB-C....it's whats for dinner. Much faster.

I looked at Quick a little bit but it seemed TOO basic. But their old program (which is what we use) is so huge and such a resource hog. I'd love something in between.

Having issues with my Hero6 - is it me? Pairs fine with iPhone 7 at home but when I get to field get it all set up - and then App can’t find GoPro - asks if wireless is on - tries to join. Can’t get remote I bought that’s been paired to connect either. This has been intermittent and I guess getting worse. Trying to film games for my housebound dad and run GameChanger. I’ve done all the reboot phone, app, reconnect etc...

I really dislike the new GoPro camera app.. it so slow and doesn’t have the same options. (Thumbs down)

Have you tried to contact customer service? You may have a defective camera.
