SAT and ACT Testing is done junior year at most institutions and you need those scores early for recruitment. $1,500 for a visit seems excessive and many, if not most of us, will have taken an unofficial visit before. At many official visits, some cost is deferred. So, given that this is a major part of this article, I don't agree with the validity of those numbers. Sure senior year is expensive but in other ways.
