2 tryouts tomorrow, one Sunday. Cross every finger and toe for us. School ball practice starts Monday with first game on Thursday. School starts next Friday.

2 weeks into senior year of high school ball. Softball jamboree tomorrow, school starts on Tuesday. It's been 3 weeks since I've seen her play, I really miss it.
It's only 98 degrees with a heat index of 110 today. I decided to drag the fields to make the them look pretty for org tryouts tomorrow morning. DD is already on the team, but will be running around shagging balls and catching pitchers and what not, then off to SAT prep class which is a 2 week crash course. As for me and the DW, we are going to a "generous pour" at the Capital Grille tonight. Tomorrow morning might be interesting if I do it up right tonight. I am drinking lots of cool refreshing H2O today!
Found out this week that my daughter made the Beverly Bandits. We have orientation this Saturday. After orientation we are going out for a celebratory dinner. My little girl has been working her tail off to make that team. Very proud of her.
Tonight is Shish Kabobs on the grill and have a few softball friends coming over for some adult beverages. Sunday I am taking the boat and going fishing. The boat has not left the garage since mid-May. Between my daughter and sons baseball/softball schedules I should probably sell the boat since there is no time to use it.

First team practice coming up on Sunday. Nice to get tryouts over with and get started on the next season.
Isn't that the team that's supposed to be the best in the Midwest?

The Beverly Bandits are very good. I won't say they are the best because there are so many variables. The Bandits did win 18u, and 16u PGF National Championships this year.
