I have noticed in our area that the teams that were really good and moved to a big org turned out to be really good after they moved. The ones that weren't that good weren't that good after they moved.

Funny how that works.

I do some work with the catchers in a program that is franchised. A lot of the quality is dependent not just on the coach but whoever is running the local franchise. In this case, the gentleman is really focused on getting the best training he can for all the players in the program, treating the players right, and ensuring they have a great overall experience. He has been building it for a couple of years now and is starting to see the results. He also puts a lot of time and effort into the overall organization. He sees what goes on in other places and wants to be sure the players in his organization don't have to put up with all of that.

So it really depends. Caveat emptor, just like with any other team.
