Why did you let her go?? EFF THAT !!

Exactly!!!!! They just left the house. I'd prefer to keep her working on her swing in the softball dojo all night instead. I have given her enough grief lately especially after she lied when she said someone knocked off her side view mirror. My BS meter was buzzing. I see a black streak on the side of vehicle and ask her how fast she was going when the mirror fell off. I told her that I know everything and will find out everything. Something about a mailbox and it was dark. I made her install the new one yesterday after I throat punched her and called her Pinocchio liar girl for 5 days straight!

First game tomorrow morning at 8am, which means warm ups begin at 7am, which means leaving the house by 6am, which means a 5:30am wake up call....and they wonder why we are psycho softball parents!

Yep. And for some tourneys 5:30am is almost like sleeping in!

Anybody else end up rained out? We got 2 games in, then the sky opened up. We were the #1 seed in our pool. Bummer. But I realized it was our first time all year getting rained out, which is pretty amazing. That includes fall. So I can't be too sad about it.

I have not gotten the official word, but I am pretty sure we will be rained out too. Got in 3 games yesterday, 2 pool and 1 bracket. DD has a couple of graduation parties to attend today, so she is not heart broken.

A rain out in the middle in 10U is party, apparently. While we adults huddled under our tents waiting to see if it would pass or they would call it, the kids ran wild and had a great time. I don't think any of them were terribly upset.

DD graduated Sat. I told myself that I wouldn't cry. I was good until they called her name and she walked across the stage. She had a her senior party with her best friend, let's just say there was a castle bouncy house involved. ( minor brag alert!) Yes, my superior honor roll young adult had a bouncy house and a selfie photo booth at her party. Adulting can wait for another day. :)

Softball starts next weekend. KC NIT tournament. We'll see how rusty she is.
