Friday means you Check in 5/19/17

DD 3 is finished with her HS season, starting pitcher for JV. Last 4 games of JV were an 11-1 run rule win, 25-2 run rule win, a game where she was hurt and they lost run rule because she's the only real pitcher, and last game of the season was 11-1 run rule win. In each of the 3 games she won, she scored more runs than she allowed.

TB coach wants the HS girls to practice Sunday. Parents won't let her. She is too beat up. We scheduled a deep massage for her Sunday, and the massage therapist won't let her practice for 24 hours afterwards.

But, she's ready for the transition!

Other kids -- DD 1 spent a few days travelling to the Bir (pronounced "beer") Tibetan Colony in India. It was an 11 hour drive from New Delhi, normally 10 hours, but bad traffic and 100 degree heat at midnight.

Dang! If I went to a new deli and it was 100 degrees and it took me 11 hours to get beer, I might not be happy.

Second tournament with new team tomorrow. This team has had a really slow start so I'm hoping the addition of DD brings some new energy and they can have a pretty good run tomorrow!

Dang! When did yearbooks get so expensive? The twin's High School charges $75, that's be $150 or put another way, half way to a new bat! ;-)

DD went to 2nd practice, she threw her arm and back out.

Worried about her arm, she might have pitched her last inning last year which is fine she had a good run.

High School field just down the street from our house. Took that pic yesterday afternoon and it continued snowing through the night and most of this morning. Travel team practices down the hill where they didn't get nearly as much snow but still too much rain to get out on the field. DD's are out hitting off the tee and pitching into a net in the garage. Hopefully it dries out quick, we need to get some team practices in before heading to KC next weekend. Gotta love Springtime in the Rockies!!

Field here have been flooded a little bit, I have snow thrower never used it this year.

DD is going to Senior Prom as a sophomore. The boy actually came by the house to ask if he could ask her to prom. I asked him aren't there any senior girls that need dates??? I'm gonna go watch a HS playoff game tonight. TB practice on Sunday.

Senior Prom weekend for DD - no softball this week/weekend. Back to the grind next week tho.

First game tomorrow morning at 8am, which means warm ups begin at 7am, which means leaving the house by 6am, which means a 5:30am wake up call....and they wonder why we are psycho softball parents!
