Whats the big plans ? No softball this past week or next week due to spring break . So just practicing a lot. Getting hitting lessons tonight. Other than that nothing much going on.

DD#1, first year 14U, is supposed to play a tournament in Tacoma this weekend. Weather is not cooperating though. Might not happen.

Funny aside. Our 2nd year 14U team was supposed to travel to California to play a few weeks ago thinking they'd get some early season play in in a dry place. They got rained out.

We've got a 7GG. It's the first tournament back for two of our pitchers. I hope it doesn't rain out Sunday.

18U Gold Cup Challenge series this weekend. 3 pool games on Saturday and single elimination bracket play on Sunday. The park they are using this weekend is also close to the house, which is nice!

We pulled out of a tournament due to lack of participation (didn't want to spend that much money to play the same 2 teams all weekend). Instead, we will play 3 friendlies on Saturday, and 4 on Sunday. Next two weekends, and the week between, are off from team activities.

Didn't check in last week - dd's 12uB team won their division in their tournament!! 1st championship win for the team.

We get this weekend off which is good because we are supposed to be rainy today and tomorrow. We need the rain so bad - the fields are giant dust bowls and the ground is so hard. Hopefully it will give the ground a good drink for next weekends tourney.

First official HS game tomorrow. Unseasonably warm temperature with rain potential. Hoping we get it in, freshman DD2 continues to impress in the field and relaxes at bat, and its competitive. DD1 has college DH both days with similar weather issues. Hope to get to Sunday's games.

If the weather cooperates we are supposed to have a tournament this weekend. We are trying an FASA tournament for the first time, so we'll see how that goes.
