We're about to go on spring break. So gonna chill and maybe go to beach. Others than that. Really nothing.

Made the 7 hour drive from Orlando to Columbia to see the SC / FL series and the latest chapter of Skippygate. Will umpires in SC summon the courage to enforce the rules as written, or will the flying circus that is now NCAA softball continue? First pitch 7PM today!

Dad is taking the kids camping. I get the house to myself for the weekend. Practice Sunday afternoon with a possible scrimmage. Sunday is when we're letting DD go back to full pitch, she's very excited. No pain in awhile now so fingers crossed she's all healed and ready to go.

We are preparing for our second rainout. The weather woman actually said, "We're going to see the kind of rain that makes standing water on the road." Well gee, there's real news. We have had 3 days of sunshine since October and yesterday was one - so I think it's made me even more annoyed. I'm from the Pacific Northwest and even I am done with this stuff. Blah.

Hoping it is going to warm up this weekend. Scheduled to play in a 18U Gold Cup. Three pool games on Saturday and single elimination bracket play on Sunday.

Man, I could not hack that weather. Give me -20 and clear skies any day!

Weekend...hmmm...prolly do some pitching practice with DD tomorrow (six weeks away from season starting); she has team practice Sunday. Son's hockey ended this week so we have a windup for that and parents-vs-kids game Sunday...plus have to inflate roughly 1,000 balloons to fill up an employee's office who is returning from vacation on Monday.

Finally warmed up enough for dds high school to get a game in last night. An hour away, so I didn't make it. We have a home game tomorrow at noon. Really Jonesing for some softball.
