My daughter is playing last game of High school tourney on Saturday but before that she got her a job score keeping at our former little league . Then seeing a new pitching coach on Sunday. So we are excited about that. Our high school league season starts on Monday.

We are going to outrun the snow headed for East TN Saturday night. Catching the Georgia Tech v. Notre Dame double header Saturday in Atlanta, then heading to Gulf Shores, AL for a 28 team HS tournament. Hope to leave early enough to eat lunch at The Varsity before the double header.

DD has a non-conference HS game tonight. They didn't hit last game and lost 1-0 so hopefully that changes this evening.

Kid's art festival Saturday (DD & DS get to sell their art. it is pretty cool)

Dinner and Movie night for me and DW Saturday evening...Going to go see Logan after visiting our favourite Sushi place

DS has travel ice hockey (yes in Florida) on Sunday morning
DD has hitting in the afternoon and a pitching lesson in the evening.

Field day and parents meeting tomorrow at DD's HS field. First two games on Tuesday.

It is supposed to get up in the upper 50's, lower 60's this weekend so maybe DH and I will have a yard day or two...

Rec season starts up tomorrow.. We had a ton of girls sign up this season for our league and have lots of new girls. Should be interesting..
Happy about the season starting but not happy about being the late game of the day :/

DD 3 has HS tryouts M-W of next week. They might have as many as 8 TB pitchers, so the competition for pitching will be fierce. I'm not sure what level team she will play on, or how much circle time she will get.

Strange how it works. Some schools in this area have too many pitchers, and are converting pitchers to position players to get the best athletes on the field. Other schools have no TB pitchers at all.
But, that's HS softball. You play the hand you are dealt.

First tourney with new team this weekend if the weather lets us play. Looking forward to getting a full evaluation of this new team. Hopefully things go well.

Tomorrow we're picking up for part of a PGF qualifier in Chattanooga. High of 51. Sunday we have our fundraiser game at GA State, when we watch a college game then our girls get to play on the field. This will be our third time doing it. It's really fun but I'm not sure about the weather. Earlier it said high chance of rain but it's down to 10% now.
