Not a bad place in Texas to be right now.
DD was there for a clinic in January. The place is amazing. Make sure you take a walk through the big building which is right next door to the smaller facility you will be scheduled to play in.

School ball practice for DD today and pitching lesson for DS.
Brown belt testing for DS on Saturday followed by a whole bunch of nothing - probably the last Saturday like that until August.
Sunday DD has travel ball practice and DS has baseball camp at a local HS.
Mother Nature is in full bipolar mode here in Ohio. Hoping that the ground is dry enough that we might get outside for practice on Sunday.

DD's in Florida getting ready to play her first college games of the season. I'm sad that I couldn't go, but I'll get to watch them streamed online. I'm really hoping she starts off well!

First game of HS season at the school my DD goes to last night. Won 15-5.
Tomorrow morning seeing Rich Balswick for a pitching lesson, then has first 12u game of the season at 1PM. Our league formed our 12u-B team in Feb and are going to play two games a week and 4 Super Friendlies against other league's 12u-B teams until mid-May. Slight chance of that wet stuff, hoping it stays away.

First spring tournament this weekend! Hoping DD has done enough work over the winter to get herself off of the bench 
7 on my team have foregone HS ball this year because they didn't want to deal with the backstabbing, bullying, drama, politics or any combination of the above. So we'll continue to hit and field indoors Sunday mornings until my other players are done with HS ball. Saturday, DD and I will be doing our weekly organizational catching clinic. She's discovered that it's much more fun leading by example and working her tail off than actually nitpicking the catchers Afterwards, she'll be practicing pitching since she'll fill in as our #3 if and/or when needed this Summer during Tourneys.

DD works tomorrow on a one day gig at a local rec league - getting paid to teach new softball girls cheers - how fun is that? And getting paid to do it too!
