Congratulations. IMO there is no other free ride that is more prestigious or harder to earn.

This was all changed this week when she received her appointment to the USNA. She will be playing softball but not the NCAA kind and I am happy as a clam. Did your dd play club ball for Navy this year? If so. Congrats on winning the World Series.

Much to my surprise she opted to do some things she never had time for. She joined the Glee club and the debate team this year. She missed SB, especially this February and now has her glove at school and is planning on trying out in the fall. She is doing great academically is a happy camper as you can see in this pic.

Awesome!! My cousin played basketball and was a Mechanical Engineering major at the Academy for a year before transferring to Drexel and doing the same there. Not sure why he transferred..probably
couldn't hack doing both activities at the Academy
