My first UCLA Softball Game

Ok so being semi local to Los Angeles I've never been to UCLA. First for everything. Got the opportunity to check out a couple of games with WarriorAngela on Sunday. UCLA played Notre Dame and well....... UCLA smacked ND around pretty good. 8-0. Total mercy by the 5th inning. That was good to see.


The other thing was that WA got a chance to meet a Pac12 pitcher. Now for the past few months both her and I have been told that in order to play for a PAC 12 school or D1 you SHOULD be or NEED to be a certain height. Well having Rachel Garcia stand next to WA for a photo, the two of them are the same height. Both at 5'6. Rachel seems to have more girth than WA, but shes also 5 years older than WA. Also another thing we saw was Rachel pitched a great game, and she was 4th in the lineup AAAAAAANND she pitched and hit with a knee brace on. Thats some bad rear right there! I have to tip my hat to that young lady.

I just hate LA traffic. Reason I never went. We almost metro linked it over there!! LOL

Sweet! That had to do wonders for the motivation!! Man, WA is looking all grown up there...is that the same kid that was out here last summer? ;-)

Yea same kid. Matter of fact she was sporting her UCLA visor at Dave and Busters in Hollywood. One of the servers asked WA whats her major? I was like, ummm shes trying to major in cleaning up her room!! Angela was all happy cause the sever (who was a girl) thought she was older.
