Good luck... played our first game yesterday.. a pre-season win!
Pre-season games also coming up next few days - first for-real game is Monday!

Yeah, I waiver between exasperation and extreme anxiety. DD had a rough start (pitching) first scrimmage 1.5 weeks ago, but she has made up for it hitting with 2 homeruns, 1 rbi single, 1 sac bunt, 1 sac fly, 2 walks and won 1 game (pitched - coach gave her a good 3 game break from pitching so it was good to see her in almost good form against good hitting team) in 3 games.

This is true. My one wish is that DD truly enjoys this last year playing HS ball. Last three years haven't been too fun for her.

Thanks for the early scouting report. I will make sure to tell my DD (catcher) to call pitches around your DD!!! We play you on 3/7.
DD is a freshman and will have her first HS tryouts next month. She's been working hard to prepare and I think she's got a decent shot at making varsity. I know she'll be disappointed in anything less, but she hasn't shown any anxiety leading up to it yet. I think I'll be more nervous for her than she will be herself.
