DD also played in an indoor tournament over the weekend. She played in it last year but I was out of town, so this was the first indoor I've been too. I guess it's better than nothing to get a few games in, but can't say I cared for it much. She laid down a perfect bunt and slipped off the back side of first base and crashed into the wall. They had about 6' past first to stop before you hit the mat, which is not enough when you run as hard as she does. yesterday morning was a hospital trip & this Wednesday to the Ortho.

This place is kind of a converted field I think, so it is pretty confined. A ribbon is hanging across the ceiling. If it hits before the ribbon it's a foul, if it hits past it then it's playable. We have another indoor tournament coming up in March at Avanti's Dome in Pekin, IL. Heard that place is pretty decent.

No I'm over by Blue Earth/Fairmont, we have some area teams that play in Austin on Sundays. We used to play in Rochester on Sundays but some kids got burnt out so we scaled back a little. Good to hear of another Minnesota person on here. I mentioned to area coaches they could rent it for an hour or two. It would be fun

We get 1/2 of the dome for less than $100/hr on Saturdays after 6pm. It's a steal.
