Ghostbusting The Friday Check in 7/15/16

Ok probably gonna try to make a strong attempt and see the new Ghostbusters movie. I'm a big fan so want to check it out for sure. Other than that softball all weekend. 3 game friendly in Fullerton Ca Ok where's everyone at this weekend ?

We are still at the USSSA WS in Kansas City, but we are in the losers bracket and have to win 6 games tomorrow to make it to Saturday...

Going to an All-Sanctioned World Series and showcase this weekend. We're leaving at 7 a.m. for a noon game today since there will be 142 16U teams participating and we're starting early. This is our last tourney of the year as a team but DD will sub for the next couple of weekends for others. It should be a tearful ending to the season since I have 4 players who will be hanging up their TB cleats after our last game.

We're driving to PCB this weekend, separately because the 12 year old has a baseball tournament. Don't want the little one to miss pin trading and waiting in line for an hour to meet Jennie Finch again

I'm looking forward to the beach, if not the very hot and humid softball conditions.

DD"s team is playing in this event as well. We traveled to Columbus on Wednesday so that she could participate in the clinic on Thursday. Now we can relax as our first game isn't until 3:40 pm on Friday. Good luck to your team!!

Headed to Ewing NJ for 16U Xtreme Dimensions Showcase. Managed to grab 2 extra games since a team dropped out.

Next week heading to the Carolina Cardinal Classic in NC. Wednesday through Sunday.

USSSSSSSSSSA World Series Warmup in Beloit.

DD 3 is on a new team this year. Last year the 12u version of this team won the 12u bracket. This year probably not going to happen. A 13 u team in the 14u bracket has a harder time, also much tougher competition in the 14u bracket compared to last year's 12u bracket.

What I am hoping for: DD 3 will get more experience pitching against batters that really know how to hit. She gets pounded by the older girls on good teams, and that really helps her development as a pitcher.
