Ok since Colorado we have rested some, but we do have pitching lessons tonight and may hit up the tee tomorrow morning. Other than that, just chillin like a villain.


Whats in your weekend!!!

Ours consists of a Sunday practice. But it also consists of starting to organize everything for next Thursday when Start our road trip from central Texas to FLA for USSSA Nationals. Took my vacation week for this and we are all getting excited about it. This is our teams last hoorah in 10u ball and it's a big one!

In Newtown PA for a 16U showcase. Hoping for another successful weekend for our very young mainly 14U team. Got a few girls coming to our indoor facility tonight for our 18U tryout. Very early to hold them but hoping to solidify the team as early as possible and begin paying for tournaments.

We have our end of year party. That is all. I'm not much of a socializer but the kids are excited and that will have to do.

Saturday - Friendlies starting at 8am (yuck).

Sunday - Drive to San Diego and check into the hotel where we will spend the next week for TCS World Series.

We are done for the season - I think...(Dd's team was scheduled to play one more tourney but her coach is worried because it is after tryouts will have started so he's not sure he wants to play now). Tryouts begin next week. DD will tryout for a couple teams because we feel it's a good experience for her, but she is most likely staying with her current coach. They played 12U this last year as a first year team but will be jumping to 14s this fall because he is picking up several players who have to move up. DD will probably be the smallest girl on the team (of course that is nothing new - she is currently the smallest on the team by 30 lbs and 4-5 inches) but she is fierce. I figure if she was 18 days older she would have had to move up anyway...so...

Kind of nice to have a couple weeks off from softball - yikes - did I really say that?!?!

Sealy Celebration fireworks, music, carnival,l funnel cakes, and softball. Just not in that order

Doing the USSSA World Series in Orlando... they even released the schedule early so looking forward to getting up there tomorrow and playing all of next week.

Showcase and camp in Dallas...DH has softball duty so I am staying home with the boys.

Chicago ASA Metro tournament...but judging by our performance in game #1 today, we'll likely end up with most of the weekend free.
