Zooming for a Friday Check in 6/10/16

Ok well really excited this weekend. Getting everything ready for Warriorangela. She will be participating in her first college showcase this weekend. So my nerves are there. Dang how time flies with this softball universe we live in. She is one of the younger ones on this 16U team, but shes been hanging in there with her great defense behind her. So we have "Zoom into June" tourney this weekend at Chino Hills Big League Dreams. Plus its her birthday weekend so, hopefully we get to see some amazing stuff this weekend!! I cant wait.



Another bonus, her new Xeno came in today!! Put this puppy to use this weekend.

DD/Laura 'done' graduates High school tomorrow.

We're off this weekend thankfully. Our team is beat up after the last 2 tourneys. Hitting, Hitting and catching practice this weekend for DD.

DD and DH are across the country chasing around after a PGF berth, and I'm just home like, "Hmmmm, the dog looks like he wants to talk."

No tourney this weekend. DD 3 can't play because -- see below. Only 8 girls could play so no tourney.

DD 3 graduated from Middle School yesterday. They had the 8th grade trip to a water park in the Wisconsin Dells today. The Dells is the water park Capitol of the US.

DD 1 graduates from HS this weekend, with high honors and a full academic scholarship to Wisconsin. Some out of town guests, off for a mini vacay to Door County, a great summer vacation spot close to the Green Bay.

DS got back in town a few days ago, from the collegiate rowing championships. He rowed Varsity 4+ for the Milwaukee School of Engineering. MSOE came in 23rd out of 28 boats, edging out Drexel (24) and almost catching Yale (22). Considering that Yale has dominated college rowing since 1843, barely losing to Yale felt like a victory.

I opened up a bank account for DD 2 today. She just got her first job and needs a place to put her money.

Dds first tournament for new team & first year @ 18u. Dd doesn't play HS ball, so she has been ready for this all winter.

Best part: I get to sit back and watch my kids play...no coaching this weekend...as much as I love coaching, I love being "dad" even more...CP

Playing in Indiana for a PGF berth this weekend. After a long drive down the girls are in the fitness room working out and watching movies Wish I had just a little bit of that energy still!

DD1 practice. DD2's team has 12U Zoom into June in San Marcos. We will be beating the heat for sure. Good luck to everyone playing this weekend!

DD's team is playing up at 16U this weekend. Then getting ready for the Valley Invite tournament in Oregon next week.
