I wonder how many games most teams got in? You are probably close enough to commute back and forth to Chattanooga, but the New Jersey Intensity team had some major travel expenses to only play a couple of games.....I hope their parents thought it was worthwhile!
I think most teams got in 4 games. I know they had a indoor workout for some uncommitted girls at the frost falcons indoor facility that went well from what I was told. I'm sure some parents weren't thrilled but I'm sure some were happy to get in the games they were able to. It was nice to be able to commute from home. :)

One of our 14s and our 16s that were in the super pools got three each.

Both our 18s only got two and our 14U team that was in the open pool only got 1 game and two innings. All of those were with an hour time limit. When it came to scheduling games on sunday, some of those were slow to be posted and they left the teams in the open pools hanging, without posting it on the site that they would only be getting two games!

With five teams there, we only had really one scheduling snaffu that was not communicated at ALL.

It was not fun waiting around for hours in a car in the parking lot because no one would make a decision. I do not understand why they don't have an on-site director at each of the venues.

I felt there was a lot of miscommunication and it left a rather bad mark in my mind for an event that we have participated in for the last four years and have enjoyed attending. We will have to really evaluate where to spend our $$$$ next year. Especially, when it felt like a money-grab (plus the quality/quantity of teams are starting to affect the event).

As for field conditions, Summits outfields were water logged, infields were not extremely greasy. Warners were much better.

Maybe saw a handful of coaches. ;-(

I still love going to Chattanooga though! Where else can a grow 50ish lady get called "Ladybug" LOL!!!!

On the plus side - A Mellow Mushroom Hoagie and an adult beverage are good after getting rain soaked on friday night and Taco Mac still has the best nachos!!!

Does anyone know why Scenic City moved up a week on the calendar this year to conflict with Champions and the Southern Force? In the past Scenic City was always the following weekend and we would attend both. I am sure it divided up the quality teams and the college coaches forcing them to choose.
